Walks around your screen, naps when you're busy, and wakes up grumpy when you poke it too much. Not a looping GIF — an autonomous 3D companion with real behaviors, customizable touch zones, and expandable cloud skills.

Autonomous Engine
LiPet does not cycle through fixed animation loops. An autonomous behavior engine drives its day, balancing curiosity, rest, and comfort on its own schedule.
Sleeps while you work, wanders across windows, stretches in the corner, and grooms its paws when calm.
Drag it anywhere on screen. When it misses its cozy home spot, it will get up and walk back on its own.
Attention shapes its mood. Left undisturbed it relaxes peacefully; interrupted too much and it shows its grumpy side.
Lightweight sprite frame animations with on-demand scheduling. Pauses automatically during system sleep to preserve battery.
Touch & Physics
Every poke triggers a contextual reaction based on where the kitten is, how it is resting, and how patient it feels.
Poking a sleeping cat produces a very different reaction than poking one while it is actively exploring your desktop.
A gentle tap brings curious inspection. Poke repeatedly without stopping, and it gets annoyed, swats at your cursor, or turns away.
Pick it up with a smooth drag across displays and toolbars. Watch it balance naturally and settle comfortably onto windows.
Extensibility
Map body zones to custom gestures, backed by a cloud plugin system that learns new tricks without requiring app updates.
Head, back, belly, and paws support click, double-click, and long-press actions to trigger actions or animations.
Skills are distributed as lightweight cloud data packets. Install new capabilities in seconds without updating the app binary.
Quickly check your AI subscription balances (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) or monitor system resource usage with a quick tap.
Reacts to local weather changes (shivers in the cold, sunbathes in clear skies) and responds to desktop notifications.
Status & Platforms
LiPet is being actively developed as a native macOS experience, with Windows desktop support queued up next.
Built for Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and Intel Macs on macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
Windows desktop support is on the active development roadmap following the macOS release.
Zero invasive telemetry, zero advertisements, and a featherlight background footprint.
We are currently tuning the 3D physics, behavioral routines, and plugin system for macOS. Stay tuned for the public release.
